Brigitte Mes (since 2001), hands-on freelancer within the marketing-, events & hospitality business. Her background lies particularly in international (ad)sales, sponsoring, marketing and eventproduction at
MTV Europe (1988-'98 based in resp. London, Stockholm, Amsterdam), followed by
IDtv (Dutch TV production company) and
UPC-tv (launching 6 digital tv-channels throughout Europe (1999-2001).
"I learned the ropes at MTV Europe, the best academy in the world! First in (advertising) sales & sponsoring, followed by youth marketing and events production. I was fortunate to travel extensively and live in various countries for MTV (UK, Sweden and The Netherlands)."
Brigitte also created MarryWise Weddingplanning & Styling, pioneering as a professional wedding planner (& -designer, stylist) within the Benelux. MarryWise produced approximately 12 x hi-end weddings per year for over 12 years.
For MesWise Events, (2014, '17, '18) Brigitte worked as a freelance event producer for a large cosmetics brand PR events in Amsterdam - Lancôme, l'Oréal, Biotherm, Kiehls and Urban Decay - in cooperation with Guillaume Joveneau, a top Belgian event director.
